The MFS Dining Hall is open seasonally for its guests. We offer hot breakfasts, sack lunches, and hot dinners. Please inform us of the number of vegetarians in your group. Meal reservations are required at least a week in advance of your visit. |

Reservation Policies of the Malheur Field Station |
|
|
| w A 50% deposit is required to hold your reservation. Upon receipt of this deposit check, you will |
| be sent a confirmation of your reservation. Full payment is due on or before arrival. |
|
w Please select your meals when making reservations. Confirm changes in group numbers with MFS |
| office no later than 7 days prior to your arrival. No refund on meals is possible without 7 days notice. |
|
w Other Charges which may apply: |
| Cooking Dorm $3 / head fee. |
| Group cleaning/damage deposit $50 per Building (refundable). |
| Pet fee: All pets must be declared. Pets must be kept leashed and picked-up after when outside. |
| w Other Discounts which may apply: |
| 15% Dorm Group discount for groups of more than 15 (excludes Dorm "E"). |
| Special rates may be available to first-time groups & schools depending on availability and length of stay. |
| w No smoking policy in all buildings. Outside, extinguish butts completely; deposit into metal containers. |
| w Quiet Hours/ Lights-out from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM. |

w Check-out time is 12:00 PM (special arrangements can be made in the office). |
| Check-in time is after 3:00 PM. |
| w Cancellation policy: Processing fee of $10 subtracted from all prorated deposit refunds: |
| Prorated refund: 4+ weeks (100%), 3+ weeks (75%), 2+ weeks (50%), 1+ week (25%), week or less (0%). |

A fee of 2% / month is assessed on all past due accounts. $25 NSF. |

| ACCOMMODATIONS |
|
Accommodation options include private trailers (single-wide mobile homes), partly shared kitchenettes, and larger dormitories for groups, that are simple, clean, and comfortable. Full hookup RV sites are available for self-contained vehicles. Our trailers, kitchenettes and two dormitories have cooking facilities which are fully equipped with basic kitchenware. Guests are asked to bring their own bedding and personal towels (limited rental sets available for both). We also request that guests leave their lodgings in a similar condition as upon arrival. |

The Malheur Field Station offers seasonal on-site Accommodations and a seasonal Food Service. Prices are kept the lowest possible to ensure accessibility to students of all ages. It is best to make reservations for lodging and is a necessity for meal service. Please review the policy section for further information.
